Cloud Forests of Tenerife

At sunset from the slopes of the volcano 'El Teide', it is possible to look down through the clouds far below and across to the island of La Gomera. The pine forests which have colonised the volcanic hills of Tenerife get much of their moisture from these clouds, and are often shrouded in mist.
